The future has already started. On 14th August 2007 the company "Art Archiv Paper Cut" was founded as a non-profit organisation.

This company has the purpose to collect silhouettes of all kind and from all over the world to equip a famous European museum.

Today

This link leads you to the homepage of the new Museum of Silhouettes. Our museum is situated in the "Old town hall" in the centre of Vreden. The building was completely renovated and includes also a café.

In the first year after the opening more than 7000 people visited our unique silhouette exhibition. Our museum is very popular, especially because of our changing exhibitions and special action weeks.

Yesterday

This link leads you to the former homepage of the First Museum of Silhouettes of Christel and Hermann Gebing. It has not been changed since the beginning of 2006 and shows all 14.000 exhibits, which were transferred as independent "HEGE Fond" into a public donation.
